Product Description

After you make your alginate mold, you'll need something to pour your casting with.

LiquiStone is the Gypsum Cement we've chosen as being a really good all around casting material with a good balance of properties.

Bright White Color
Mixes easily
Initial Set Time: 15 minutes, Demold Time: ~60 minutes
8,000 - 9,000 psi strength (normal plaster is ~800 psi)
Easy to Paint

Plaster of Paris is very soft (800-1000 psi) when set. You can easily scratch it with your fingernail.

LiquiStone cannot be scratched with a fingernail but it can be "worked" with hand tools for cleanup, etc.

A typical single hand cast takes about 2 pounds of LiquiStone and a face cast takes about 1.5 pounds.
